Handicap Season begins April1st
The official date to begin the posting season is April1st. The guidelines state that all rounds of six holes or more must be posted. A player playing six holes would post a nine hole score taking the handicap strokes that they would have received over the three final holes and adding them to par. For instance player A (an 18 handicap) stops after the sixth hole. Holes seven, eight and nine were holes that the player received one handicap stroke per hole. The player would score bogeys on each of the last three holes. If a player plays thirteen holes or more that round is to be posted as an eighteen hole round using the same formula. Please contact a member of the golf staff if you have any questions.
